The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa blocks a head kick by Viki.
A little jabbing left from Barbosa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Viki scoring well with a low kick there.
A big left from Viki misses.
Viki misses with an uppercut
and Barbosa counters with a straight right hand.
Viki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Barbosa connects with a right hand. Viki shakes it off.
It looks like Miki Viki has been cut.
Viki lands a lovely overhand right.
Barbosa lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viki walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barbosa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Barbosa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Viki misses with an uppercut.
Barbosa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Barbosa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Viki throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Viki looks to land a left hand but Barbosa moved out of range nicely.
Barbosa defending well as Viki loads up on a big left hand.
Barbosa throws out a counter right but Viki avoids it with no problem.
Viki throws a body shot but no joy.
Barbosa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Viki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barbosa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Barbosa.
Barbosa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Viki swings widly with a right hand
and Barbosa counters with a crisp right that sends Viki to the canvas! Barbosa follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edson Bidon Barbosa!
