Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ranger Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 15 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ranger Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roberts pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

It looks like Minatay Mibangon has been cut.
Mibangon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Roberts isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mibangon stacks Roberts on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mibangon!
Roberts can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roberts is trying to control Mibangon's posture but Mibangon avoids it.
Roberts is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Roberts wants to improve his position but Mibangon is controlling well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roberts is controlling Mibangon's trapped leg to prevent Mibangon from advancing to side control.
Roberts wants to get back to full guard but Mibangon has mounted him!

Roberts wants to control but Mibangon is having none of it.
Mibangon won't let Roberts get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Roberts wants to hold on but Mibangon pushes him away.
Roberts flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Roberts is desperately trying to improve his position but Mibangon has a good base and remains in mount.
Roberts is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Mibangon wants to control the pace but Roberts is squirming around nicely.
Roberts tries to hold on but Mibangon pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mibangon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roberts is looking to escape.

Mibangon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mibangon shoots in looking for a takedown but Roberts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mibangon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A counter left hand to the body from Roberts misses its target.
Roberts misses with a few strikes there.

Mibangon counters with a body kick.
Roberts misses the shot to the body.
Mibangon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Mibangon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Roberts connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mibangon is still on wobbly legs! Can Roberts finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Roberts knocks Mibangon out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
