The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riviera misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lobo.
Lobo shoots in and drives through. Riviera sprawls well.
Riviera throws a shot from downtown. Lobo moves away and avoids it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lobo.
Riviera drops Lobo with a nice combination! Riviera dives into Lobo's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Lord Lobo has been cut.
Riviera seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lobo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lobo is trying to keep Riviera in close.

Riviera decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lobo, up you get!
Nice body punch from Riviera.
Riviera waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Lobo.
Lobo moves out of range as Riviera strikes.
Lobo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Riviera paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lobo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Riviera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lobo somewhat.
Jorge Riviera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lord Lobo.
Lobo looks gassed!
Riviera lands the left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lobo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Riviera.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Riviera, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lobo slips under a jab.
Riviera looks to throw the jab but Lobo is out of range.
