Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Weismuller (ranked 667 p4p, 1076 weight class) and Alexandros Stamatis (ranked 96 p4p, 144 weight class). Weismuller comes to the cage accompanied by The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods. Stamatis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sabaton - Sparta. Tommy Weismuller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Weismuller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexandros Stamatis!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis throws a hook but Weismuller blocks it.
Weismuller slips under a jab from Stamatis.
Weismuller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Weismuller ducks under a wild hook from Stamatis.
Stamatis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Weismuller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Stamatis jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stamatis just misses with a punch to the body.
Stamatis thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab lands there for Stamatis.
It looks like Tommy Weismuller has been cut.
Weismuller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stamatis getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weismuller misses with a takedown attempt
and Stamatis counters with a straight right hand.
Weismuller shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Weismuller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stamatis lands a big right hook! Weismuller looks hurt but is still standing! Stamatis lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Weismuller falls down and Stamatis dives in with a huge hammer fist! Weismuller's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Stamatis runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alexandros Stamatis!
Alexandros Stamatis tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
