The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Farquharson gets caught flat footed, as Donia shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Farquharson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Donia postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Farquharson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farquharson drops an elbow to the side of Donia's head.

It looks like Pier Donia has been cut.
Donia is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Farquharson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Donia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Farquharson on the ground.
Farquharson lands a big elbow - Donia is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Farquharson!
