Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between omar wantan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for omar wantan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, omar wantan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
wantan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
wantan tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with wantan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… wantan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by wantan and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Johnson throws a strike aimed at the side of wantan's head but wantan avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on wantan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
wantan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. wantan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, wantan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

wantan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Johnson turns into wantan and is now in his guard.
wantan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Johnson feints and as wantan raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
wantan wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
wantan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
wantan is trying to maintain a safe position but Johnson gets an underhook and turns wantan into the cage.
wantan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage.
wantan is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag wantan down to the mat. wantan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
omar wantan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Johnson.

wantan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
