And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mertis Falandas!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labelle moves out of range of the strikes.
Falandas closes the distance and clinches.

Dong Labelle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mertis Falandas.

Labelle's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Falandas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Falandas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Falandas has his foot on Labelle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Labelle works his way back into a safe position though.
Falandas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Labelle should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Falandas has tightened it up now! Labelle should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
