Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edward Vale!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vale tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tekd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tekd drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vale sprawls and moves away.
Vale bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tekd throws a lazy right hand but Vale sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vale fails in his attempt to clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Tekd misses the target.
Gatrek Tekd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vale shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tekd as he jumps to the side.
Tekd half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Vale shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Tekd counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tekd postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tekd stands and throws Vale's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tekd content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vale is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Tekd looks up at the clock and then as Vale takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tekd smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Vale takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Vale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tekd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tekd grinds an elbow into Vale's temple.
Tekd advances to full mount.
Tekd landing punches.
Tekd looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Tekd lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tekd lands a couple of good shots and Vale has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Vale is rocked!

Tekd lands shots to the head and Vale turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!

Gatrek Tekd tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
