The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickons fails with the takedown
and Johnston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dickons lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Martin Johnston has been cut.
Dickons moves out of range of the strikes.
Dickons misses with a takedown attempt - Johnston sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Johnston throws a nice looking combination but Dickons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jovan Dickons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnston digs a good hook to Dickons's body.
Johnston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dickons closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnston circles away.
Martin Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jovan Dickons.

Johnston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dickons shoots in and drives through. Johnston sprawls well.

A punch lands to the side of Dickons 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Dickons is rocked!
Johnston tries a head kick but it misses.
Dickons shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnston but Johnston pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Johnston drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Dickons right on the button. Dickons goes down! Johnston follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Johnston gets the win via TKO!
