Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kayke Pitbull (ranked 4373 p4p, 4235 weight class) and Haidar Nasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kayke Pitbull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Haidar Nasser!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nasser moves into the clinch.
Pitbull jumps guard but Nasser turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Nasser keeps control of Pitbull as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Nasser has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pitbull is trying to keep an underhook but Nasser manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Nasser is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Pitbull wants to improve his position but Nasser is controlling well.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nasser has eaten all the pies!
Nasser keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Nasser is going to stand back up.
Pitbull is trying to stand up here but Nasser is controlling him well.
Nasser slips a nice elbow through Pitbull's hands, connecting with Pitbull's forehead.
Pitbull is looking to control Nasser's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pitbull avoid being mounted?
Nasser is nestled in close to Pitbull, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Nasser slips a nice elbow through Pitbull's hands, connecting with Pitbull's forehead.

Nasser is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pitbull has managed to free his arm - good work.

Nasser is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pitbull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nasser.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nasser works his way into side control.
Nasser wants to stand but Pitbull is controlling his arm.
You can see the frustration on Pitbull's face as Nasser controls the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Nasser fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pitbull to the ground. Nasser is now in Pitbull's guard.
Nasser tries to stand but Pitbull is controlling from the bottom.
Nasser passes Pitbull's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nasser is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pitbull!
Pitbull is breathing heavily.
Nasser tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that Nasser has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nasser fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Nasser looking for a guillotine from mount but Pitbull is having none of it.

Nasser has control of Pitbull's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pitbull regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Nasser shoots in and bounces Pitbull off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pitbull wants to get back to his feet but Nasser passes into half guard.
Haidar Nasser has got the better of the ground game so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nasser is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pitbull is in real trouble.
Nasser has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Pitbull.

Nasser lands punches and elbows.
Nasser is working the ground and pound. Can Pitbull escape?
Nasser is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Nasser is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pitbull is defending well though. Nasser let's go of the attempt for now.

Pitbull is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pitbull takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Nasser controls the action.
Nasser landing with strikes.
The referee is taking a good look at Pitbull as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Nasser!
Nasser has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pitbull's body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nasser looking to break Pitbull's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pitbull remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nasser will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Haidar Nasser showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Nasser moves into the clinch.
Nasser tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pitbull just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nasser pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Nasser is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pitbull to keep the fight standing.
Nasser tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kayke Pitbull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haidar Nasser.

Nasser jumps guard and drags Pitbull to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pitbull is looking to stand up but Nasser won't let him.
Nasser is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nasser perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitbull has hold of Nasser's hands but Nasser slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Nasser landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Nasser looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nasser wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Nasser is working for a submission of some sort.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nasser wants to stand up but Pitbull has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Nasser stalling.

Nasser decides to stand up.

Nasser drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pitbull is looking to stand back up but Nasser counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pitbull.

Pitbull knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nasser on the ground.
Nasser is nestled in close to Pitbull, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Nasser is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Kayke Pitbull has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Haidar Nasser is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Nasser shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Haidar Nasser comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nasser has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
