Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Grigorev (ranked 24883 p4p, 4214 weight class) and David Bent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bent ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bent closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Grigorev quickly recovers to half guard.

Grigorev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like David Bent has been cut.
Bent uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grigorev.
Grigorev gets caught napping as Bent dives in and scores a takedown. Grigorev manages to retain guard.

Grigorev wants to stand up but Bent is controlling him.
Grigorev controls Bent momentarily but Bent frees himself.
Grigorev wants to improve his position but instead Bent has moved into half guard.

Grigorev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bent is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Grigorev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bent is controlling the pace.

Bent steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Grigorev.
Grigorev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bent takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bent falls off balance throwing a combination
and Grigorev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Grigorev scores with a nice head shot.
Bent closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grigorev did well to prevent Bent getting side control.
Grigorev wants to get back to full guard.
Bent slows the pace down in half guard.

Grigorev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bent on the ground.
Bent keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bent uses his free foot to push down on Grigorev's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Grigorev.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bent jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Grigorev manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but David Bent will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Grigorev is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bent dives into side control.

Bent lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Grigorev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Grigorev looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Bent pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bent has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Grigorev tries to lock up and control but Bent gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bent lands a couple of good shots and Grigorev has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Grigorev is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bent lands a good shot there. Grigorev covers up! Bent smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Grigorev to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Bent jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Bent!
