The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lekobe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Lekobe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lekobe tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Johns.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lekobe trying to control from half guard but Johns is working away.
Lekobe passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Johns!
Johns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lekobe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johns is working to get back to half guard.
Lekobe breaks from Johns's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Lekobe trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lekobe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lekobe is stalling here but it's allowed Johns to get half guard.
Lekobe wants to control but Johns is keeping him busy.
Johns tries to get to full guard but Lekobe has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lekobe seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Johns is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Lekobe has latched onto it... Big trouble! Lekobe pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Johns is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Lekobe!
