The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whittaker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Souza fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Whittaker lands with a good body shot.
Steve Whittaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whittaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Whittaker cracks Souza with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
