The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belenuik gets the takedown into side control.

Belenuik wants to stand but Anderson has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position.
Belenuik is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Belenuik wants to work for an arm triangle but Anderson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Belenuik is looking to advance position but Anderson won't allow it.

Anderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Belenuik controls the pace.
Belenuik must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Belenuik won't allow Anderson to sweep him here.

Belenuik is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Anderson has his foot on Belenuik's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belenuik works his way back into a safe position though.
