Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denk Ops!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Liondoom!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liondoom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Liondoom misses with a wild body shot.
Ops throws a combination that misses

and Liondoom counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ops!
Liondoom trying to control the position but Ops is working away.
Ops prevents Liondoom from moving into mount.

Liondoom looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ops is not content to let Liondoom control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ops can't do much from the bottom here.
Ops gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Liondoom wants to take Ops's back here but Ops is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Ops knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Liondoom on the ground.

Liondoom is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ops has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ops is desperately trying to improve his position but Liondoom has a good base and remains in mount.
Liondoom misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Liondoom sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Liondoom is landing with some decent strikes but Ops is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Liondoom lands with some strikes.
Liondoom in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Liondoom moves to take his opponent's back.
Ops is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Liondoom controlling the positon.
Well, with Liondoom on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Ops is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Liondoom has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Liondoom throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Liondoom is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ops with him. Ops is trying to defend but Liondoom has an arm under the chin now! Ops grimaces and is forced to tap out!
