Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mason Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Brown!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Brown!
Brown connects with a body shot.
Brown misses with the combination.
Sutherland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.
Sutherland shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sutherland has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with Sutherland's head.

Brown closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Sutherland is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Oh Sutherland is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sutherland tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control.
Sutherland seems to have got his legs back now.
Sutherland is breathing heavily.
Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Brown winds up and cracks Sutherland with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Brown wants to take a breather but Sutherland is having none of it.

Sutherland is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Brown looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Brown works over Sutherland's head and body with a nice combination.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Sutherland doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brown counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Sutherland. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sutherland shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Brown counter with a right hand.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Brown throws a right hand that Sutherland ducks under and follows up with a left that Sutherland also avoids with ease.

Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sutherland sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Brown wants to stand up but Sutherland is controlling the position.
Sutherland works his way to full guard. Good work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sutherland looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Brown wants to get up but he can't break Sutherland's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sutherland escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sutherland is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.
Brown wants to stand but Sutherland is controlling his posture from full guard.

Sutherland has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sutherland has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
