Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Logan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Longson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longson has chosen Oopsy daisy chipmunk as his entrance music. Logan Bishop has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop scores with a decent looking hook.
Longson connects with a solid leg kick.
Bishop cracks a nice hook into Longson's ribs.
Bishop tries to bum rush Longson with a series of wild strikes but Longson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Longson misses with a double jab
letting Bishop counter with a right hand.
Bishop swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Longson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bishop takes a step back to recover.
Bishop avoids a punch combination nicely.
Longson scores with a leg kick.

Bishop throws a series of punches but Longson moves out of range.
Longson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Longson rushes Bishop and presses him up against the cage.

Longson has hold of one of Bishop's legs. Bishop is fighting the takedown attempt but Longson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Longson stands and throws Bishop's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Longson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bishop tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Longson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Longson cracks Bishop with a big right hand but Bishop just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bishop pushes Longson off looking to stand but Longson dives back in and keeps control.
Longson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Longson slips a nice elbow through Bishop's hands, connecting with Bishop's forehead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bishop wants to get back to his feet.
Bishop is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Longson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Longson's back!
