Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Boner (ranked 2105 p4p, 3750 weight class) and Jonesy McGuffin (ranked 276 p4p, 431 weight class). Jonesy McGuffin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGuffin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boner checks it well.
Boner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McGuffin throws a looping overhand right but Boner ducks down to avoid it.
McGuffin thows a left - swing and a miss!
McGuffin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boner.
McGuffin sizes up Boner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McGuffin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A left lands for McGuffin.
McGuffin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGuffin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McGuffin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGuffin wants it to stay on the feet.
McGuffin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Boner counters with a shoot takedown. McGuffin fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGuffin is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Boner presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
A head punch on the inside from McGuffin fails to land.

Boner gets control of McGuffin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McGuffin is in close to Boner's body, working some short punches and elbows.

McGuffin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGuffin has managed to get both his arms back between Boner's legs - danger averted.

My spies in Doom's Gym inform me that McGuffin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from McGuffin and the ref steps in to end the fight! McGuffin can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
