And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Steel!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Allu lands a body shot.
Allu presses Steel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Allu misses with a punch to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Allu.
A short right from Allu on the inside.

Steel jumps into guard, dragging Allu to the mat.

Steel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Allu defends well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allu looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Steel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Steel is trying to control the position but Allu postures up.
Allu sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Steel working for submissions but it's allowed Allu to get to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Allu wants to stand up but Steel has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Steel looking for submissions off his back.

Steel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Allu pulls his head out easily.

Allu decides to stand and escape the position.

Nice defenses there by Allu.
Allu cracks Steel with an open hand slap.

It looks like Daniel Steel has been cut.
Allu misses with a body punch
and Steel counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Juki Allu has been cut.
Allu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Allu throws a series of punches but Steel moves out of range.
Nice shot by Allu.
Allu with a nice calf kick.
Steel swats away the attempt to clinch by Allu.
Allu tries to clinch but Steel is having none of it.
Allu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Juki Allu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allu throws a body shot but no joy.

Steel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steel walks forward, straight into a front kick from Allu.
Steel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Oooooh!!! Allu has knocked Steel down with a huge combo! Allu steps away and waves a wobbly Steel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Steel is rocked!
Allu defending well as Steel loads up on a big left hand.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Allu finish him?
