Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Fauteux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoos has chosen The Von Bondies- C'mon C'mon as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jake Fauteux has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jake Fauteux seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hoos with that takedown attempt.
Hoos moves out of range of the strikes.
Hoos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fauteux but Fauteux pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fauteux swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fauteux throws a right and a left that Hoos avoids nicely.
Fauteux throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoos.

Fauteux closes the distance and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Hoos scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Fauteux.

Hoos gets control of Fauteux's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hoos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fauteux postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hoos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hoos is looking for a triangle but Fauteux pushes his legs off easily.

Fauteux drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fauteux jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hoos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fauteux controls the pace.

An elbow from Fauteux crashes against the mat.
Fauteux has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Hoos is looking to improve his position but Fauteux isn't that keen on the idea.

Fauteux wants to finish this one by submission but Hoos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fauteux.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fauteux quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Fauteux but it's paid off an Hoos is forced to tap! Nice work by Fauteux.
