The crowd seem to be enjoying Reyes's choice of entrance music: Zack Hemsey - Vengeance. Roman Reyes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes misses with a double jab.
Mendy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Reyes sprawls and moves away.
Reyes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mendy in his tracks.
Sloppy strikes from Mendy. Those never looked like landing.
Reyes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mendy's head.

It looks like Pierre Ragout Mendy has been cut.
Mendy throws a hook to the side of Reyes's head but Reyes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've been hearing reports that Mendy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mendy needs to keep his hands up - Reyes had a free shot at his head there.

Mendy is rocked!
Mendy swings for the body but Reyes moves out of range.
Oh Mendy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Reyes counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Mendy! He's just covering up as Reyes starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Roman Reyes decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
