Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 28 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pierre Ragout Mendy!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santaban scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Santaban tries to sprawl but Mendy drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Santaban's coaches at Chuckles Strenght and Conditioning have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Mendy thows a huge punch but Santaban dodges it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mendy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Santaban does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mendy is nestled in close to Santaban, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Santaban makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Santaban slips a jab and a cross from Mendy.
Santaban really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mendy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mendy there as he acknowledges the shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mendy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mendy shoots in for a double leg but Santaban sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Santaban attempts a counter takedown but Mendy avoids it well and moves away.

Mendy dodges the punch combination from Santaban.
Mendy appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Mendy's corner calls for a 1-2. Mendy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mendy throws a wild body kick that Santaban sees coming a mile off.

Mendy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santaban as he avoids it easily.

Santaban lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mendy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Santaban dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
