The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer defending well as Yobachukwu loads up on a big left hand.
Yobachukwu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brewer counters with a straight right hand.
The fighters circling - Yobachukwu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Yobachukwu cracks Brewer with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yobachukwu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brewer to stand back up!

It looks like Dameko Brewer has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yobachukwu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Akubundu Yobachukwu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brewer looks to score with a jab to the body but Yobachukwu is just out of range.
Yobachukwu throws a right hand that misses
and Yobachukwu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yobachukwu lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Brewer is looking to close the distance but Yobachukwu sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Brewer crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Brewer is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
