Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dante Fowler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hassan Al Hikmah!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fowler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Al Hikmah circles away from the clinch attempt.
Al Hikmah throws a body shot but no joy.
Al Hikmah looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A telegraphed right hand from Al Hikmah misses the target.
Fowler tries to clinch up.
Al Hikmah thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fowler scores with a jab. Al Hikmah acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fowler on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fowler tries to clinch
and Al Hikmah counters with a right hand to the body.
Al Hikmah scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fowler in his tracks.
It looks like Dante Fowler has been cut.
Fowler wants to clinch up but Al Hikmah keeps it at a distance.
Al Hikmah slips a straight right by Fowler.
Fowler wants to clinch up but Al Hikmah keeps it at a distance.
A jab from Al Hikmah misses.
Al Hikmah drops Fowler with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fowler looks back up at him and smiles so Al Hikmah waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fowler is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fowler wants to clinch.
Oh Fowler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Al Hikmah works Fowler's body with a nice hook.
Al Hikmah cracks Fowler with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fowler falls to his knees and Al Hikmah doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hassan Al Hikmah!
