PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ura Nage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ruanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Who Wants To Live Forever. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ruanti's guard.

Ruanti lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nage!

With the fighters up against the cage, Nage throws an elbow but misses.

Nage jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ruanti walks away with a smile on his face. Nage gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ruanti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nage's waist but Nage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruanti off to one side.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nage feints and then cracks Ruanti's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruanti down.
Ruanti fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nage avoids it really well and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ura Nage showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Nage has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
