Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hero Shima (ranked 356 p4p, 285 weight class) and Noah Anderson (ranked 51 p4p, 38 weight class). Shima's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, C. R. E. A. M. Anderson has chosen Bassically by Tei Shi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noah Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a body punch but Shima moves out of range.
Shima loads up on a big right hand but Anderson slips the punch.
Anderson throws a big shot that misses.
Shima needs to keep his hands up - Anderson had a free shot at his head there.
Anderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Shima swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Shima takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Anderson cracks Shima with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Anderson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Shima takes a step back to recover.
Shima throws a jab but it's blocked by Anderson.
Anderson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Anderson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shima moves out of range as Anderson throws a body kick.
Shima swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Anderson lands a high kick!

It looks like Hero Shima has been cut.
Anderson throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donk. Anderson catches Shima right on the button with a cross.
Anderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

As Anderson tries to get set, Shima tries to push him back and clinch up but Anderson manages to avoid the attempt.

Shima avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Shima ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Shima misses with a wild body shot.
Anderson cracks Shima with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Anderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shima manages to avoid it.
Anderson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Anderson scores with a nice strike.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Anderson dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Shima takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Anderson lands a big head kick that sends Shima tumbling to the mat! Anderson takes a step backwards and waves Shima back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shima is rocked!
Anderson cracks Shima with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Shima tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anderson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Shima is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Anderson!
Noah Anderson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
