Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Chestner (ranked 1300 p4p, 1348 weight class) and Vernon Creed (ranked 198 p4p, 206 weight class). Chestner's entrance music is Black Eyed Bruiser. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chestner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Creed kicks Chestner off and gets back to his feet.
Creed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Creed lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Chestner missing with a left hand there. Creed was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've been hearing reports that Chestner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looked like Chestner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Chestner tries to close the distance and clinch but Creed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chestner. Creed does a little dance to reset his feet.

Creed takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chestner lands a nice hook to Creed's body. Creed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Chestner lands a nice hook to Creed's body. Creed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Chestner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Creed.

Creed wants to control position but Chestner is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Creed here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.

Brad Chestner spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
