The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxey darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Maxey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Doolittle throws a shot to the body.
Doolittle just misses with a punch to the body.
Maxey lands with a slapping head kick.
Doolittle throws a jab but it's blocked by Maxey.
Maxey throws a nice head kick!
Doolittle avoids the head kick by Maxey.
Maxey moves forwards but Doolittle connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Doolittle looks to score with a jab to the body but Maxey is just out of range.
Doolittle scores with the left hand. Maxey knows he should have avoided that one.
Maxey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doolittle throws out a loose jab but Maxey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Doolittle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Doolittle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Doolittle throws an overhand right that lands on Maxey's shoulder, as Maxey tries to avoid the shot.
Maxey wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Doolittle slaps away a takedown attempt from Maxey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Maxey ducks under a wild hook from Doolittle.
Maxey throws a big counter combination but Doolittle scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Maxey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doolittle circles away quickly and effectively.
Doolittle takes one to the side of the head.
Maxey fails to land with a series of punches.

Doolittle throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Maxey counters with a one-two to the body.

Doolittle swings for the body but Maxey moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Maxey tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maxey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Maxey is rocked!

Doolittle closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Maxey! Doolittle dives in looking to finish! Maxey is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
