Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hargol Svenkter (ranked 435 p4p, 428 weight class) and Kevin McGuire (ranked 27 p4p, 23 weight class). Svenkter comes to the cage accompanied by heavy bass test. McGuire has chosen Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kevin McGuire will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hargol Svenkter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire lands with a nice body punch.
McGuire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Svenkter tries to avoid it but McGuire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Svenkter to the ground. Svenkter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGuire smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Hargol Svenkter has been cut.
Svenkter misses with a hook.
McGuire flicks out a counter leg kick but Svenkter steps away.
Svenkter throws out a loose jab but McGuire uses good head movement to avoid it.

McGuire throws a left that rocks Svenkter and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McGuire dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Svenkter regain composure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Svenkter wants to control but McGuire postures up.
McGuire trying to control the position but Svenkter is working away.
McGuire misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Svenkter can't do much from the bottom here.

McGuire tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McGuire has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
McGuire wants to lay and pray for a moment but Svenkter keeps working.
McGuire is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Svenkter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

McGuire misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Svenkter is looking to regain half guard here but McGuire keeps moving and retains side control.
McGuire is staying tight to Svenkter's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Svenkter dodges the ground and pound from McGuire.
McGuire is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Svenkter's shoulder. That is not cool.
Svenkter avoids any damage from the ground and pound of McGuire.
Svenkter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Svenkter wants to control but McGuire is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McGuire lands a nice short elbow.

Hargol Svenkter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McGuire in particular looking to stall.

McGuire seems to be looking for submissions.
McGuire content to control rather than advance.
Svenkter is trying to get back to full guard.
Svenkter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
