The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosme takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Edvaldo Cosme has been cut.
Jayden Sven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cosme looks for a takedown but Sven sprawls well.
Cosme looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Cosme closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sven tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sven is still trying to improve position.

Cosme tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cosme. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cosme has hold of Sven's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sven seems comfortable defending it but Cosme has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sven is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sven is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cosme couldn't care less - he's delighted!
