Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Thornton (ranked 24558 p4p, 24498 weight class) and David Brenda (ranked 534 p4p, 516 weight class). David Brenda struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornton misses with a straight left.
Brenda unleashes a big counter combination but Thornton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Thornton lands a big uppercut and Brenda crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brenda looks OK. Thornton waves Brenda back to his feet!

It looks like David Brenda has been cut.

Thornton sends Brenda crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thornton is motioning to the referee to let Brenda up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Thornton connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Brenda to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Thornton!
