Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonardo Esposito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Esposito sprawls well initially but Kelly persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kelly throwing shots but Esposito is blocking nicely.
Kelly tries to pass to full mount but Esposito defends it.
Kelly throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Esposito to regain full guard.
Esposito keeping moving, preventing Kelly from controlling successfully.
Kelly is looking to work some ground and pound but Esposito has wrist control.
Kelly advances position into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Esposito tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kelly wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Esposito's coaches at FIST OF FURY have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Kelly tries to score with some ground and pound. Esposito controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Kelly tries to advance to mount but can't.

Kelly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Esposito has escaped the position, nice work there.
Esposito avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kelly.

Kelly is trying to get an arm triangle but Esposito is defending well.
Kelly trying to control the action but Esposito is working from the bottom.
Kelly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kelly tries to score with some ground and pound. Esposito controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Esposito tries to buck Kelly off but Kelly is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kelly tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kelly has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kelly trying to control the action but Esposito is working from the bottom.
Kelly working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Esposito is looking to regain half guard here but Kelly keeps moving and retains side control.
Kelly throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Esposito works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Kelly is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Esposito has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kelly uses his free foot to push down on Esposito's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Esposito.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kelly throws some wild stikes that Esposito manages to avoid easily.
Kelly scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kelly looking to ground and pound but Esposito is blocking nicely.
Kelly unloads with some shots from mount but Esposito bucks and avoids them well.
BOOM! Kelly connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kelly throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Esposito because Kelly loaded up on that one.
Esposito manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelly not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Esposito avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kelly.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Esposito counters with a body kick that stops Kelly in his tracks momentarily.

Kelly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kelly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Esposito.
Kelly drops his hands momentarily and Esposito takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Esposito takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kelly connects with a body shot.
Esposito throws a body shot but no joy.

Esposito moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kelly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Esposito is fending him off so far but Kelly persists. Nope, Esposito circles away and we're back to standing.

Kelly misses with a hook
and Esposito makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kelly really felt that one!
Kelly is breathing heavily.
Kelly tries to clinch
and Esposito counters with a stiff right hand.

Kelly is rocked!
Esposito ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kelly is still on wobbly legs! Can Esposito finish him?
Kelly takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Esposito fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Kelly out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Leonardo Esposito!
During a confident post fight interview, Leonardo Esposito thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Robert Kelly had this to say: '(singing) I feel soooo freaky tonight...'.
