The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Stroheim blocks a low kick nicely.
Von Stroheim lands a nice looking body shot.
Stankovic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Von Stroheim.
A left lands for Stankovic.

It looks like Jonas Von Stroheim has been cut.
Von Stroheim scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A punch lands to the side of Von Stroheim 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Von Stroheim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stankovic manages to break the clinch.

and Stankovic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stankovic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Stankovic counters with a right hand to the body.
Stankovic uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Von Stroheim.
It looked like Stankovic was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Von Stroheim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stankovic feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Stankovic ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Von Stroheim takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Von Stroheim misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stankovic.
Von Stroheim throws a body shot but no joy.
Stankovic looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Stankovic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Stankovic sends Von Stroheim crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stankovic is motioning to the referee to let Von Stroheim up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stankovic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Stankovic counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Djordje Stankovic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
