Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dieter Holben (ranked 25105 p4p, 24928 weight class) and Tony Halme (ranked 595 p4p, 588 weight class). Holben comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction. Halme comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Katri Helena-Katson autiota hiekkarantaa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Halme is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Holben got a little sloppy there for a moment and Halme has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holben has managed to get both his arms back between Halme's legs - danger averted.

Holben is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Halme can do to turn this around?

Halme pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Halme shoots for a double leg takedown but Holben sprawls well. He's pushed Halme's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holben accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Halme seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Halme has momentary wrist control but Holben slips an elbow through the middle.

Halme looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Holben has picked Halme up and slammed him! Halme can't keep hold of the triangle and Holben manages to pass to side control!
Halme is not content to let Holben control the position.
Holben lands a decent elbow from side control.
Holben prevents Halme from escaping the position.
Halme avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Holben.
Holben knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Halme on the ground.
Holben wants to lay and pray for a moment but Halme keeps working.

Halme is not content to let Holben control the position.

Holben has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Nice combo by Holben! Oh, that's hurt him - Halme falls to the canvas and Holben follows him into side control.
Holben scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Halme is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Holben can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
