Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Dean (ranked 1044 p4p, 1379 weight class) and Ezekiel Broomsdale (ranked 145 p4p, 194 weight class). Broomsdale has chosen Masta as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ezekiel Broomsdale!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean throws out a loose jab but Broomsdale uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've been told by Dean's head coaches at New York Public Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dean takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dean feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Broomsdales jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dean throws a lazy right hand but Broomsdale sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Broomsdale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Broomsdale is in Dean's guard.
Broomsdale tries to free his leg and advance position but Dean is retaining full guard.
Broomsdale trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dean is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dean throws the left hand but Broomsdale avoids the punch easily.
Dean throws a hook to the side of Broomsdale's head but Broomsdale sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dean throws a body punch but Broomsdale moves out of range.
Broomsdale avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dean jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dean fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Broomsdale looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

It looks like Ezekiel Broomsdale has been cut.

Dean catches Broomsdale with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab from Dean does it's job there.

Broomsdale is rocked!
Dean cracks Broomsdale with a left hook right on the temple and Broomsdale goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Dean lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Broomsdale is OK!

Ezekiel Broomsdale was interviewed post fight and said 'It's just gut wrenching man, I let everyone down. I'll be back better than ever soon enough though. '.
