Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a low kick but Brussard moves out of range easily.
Brussard slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Brussard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Left hook, right uppercut from Lee.
Brussard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lee with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Some bone on bone action there as Brussard checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Brussard counters with a body kick.
Brussard throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range.

Lee's coach down at Roosters Coop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Brussard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

As Lee backs away, Brussard returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Brussard finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

A little feinted left hand from Brussard on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Brussard throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it.
Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Brussard counters with a low kick, right behind Lee 's knee.

Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brussard checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Brussard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looked like Brussard wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lee moves into range and connects with a jab.
A nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rock Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brussard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brussard tries to land a front kick but Lee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rock Lee dominated that round.

Lee attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

The fighters circle, before Brussard throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lee's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Brussard lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
