Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kakashi Hataki (ranked 2398 p4p, 3051 weight class) and Boko Haram (ranked 219 p4p, 271 weight class). Boko Haram has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kakashi Hataki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Boko Haram!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haram closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hataki.
Hataki goes for a takedown attempt but Haram pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hataki throws a lazy right hand but Haram sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hataki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hataki misses with a few strikes there.
Hataki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hataki shoots for a takedown but Haram saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hataki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Haram leaves Hataki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kakashi Hataki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haram walks into a stiff left hand from Hataki.
Haram stuns Hataki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Haram pushes Hataki up against the cage in a clinch.
Haram tries to work over Hataki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hataki lands a left hand.
Hataki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Haram is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hataki is keeping busy.
Hataki can't find room to land a body shot as Haram controls the action.
Hataki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Haram just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hataki goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Haram's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Hataki struggles to land a body shot inside as Haram controls his hands.
Haram lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hataki backwards.
Hataki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Haram trying to control the position but instead, Hataki has worked for underhooks and has pushed Haram into the cage.

Hataki tries to pull guard but Haram holds him up against the cage and eventually Hataki drops back down to his feet.
Hataki pushes off an throws an elbow but Haram leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Hataki pulls Haram into guard.

Hataki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hataki has his foot on Haram's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Haram works his way back into a safe position though.

Hataki isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Haram stacks Hataki on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Haram!

Hataki tries to buck Haram off but Haram is having none of it.
Haram tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hataki wants to control but Haram postures up.
Hataki is looking to regain half guard here but Haram keeps moving and retains side control.
Haram passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hataki!

A close round but Boko Haram will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hataki is trying to push Haram away but Haram has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hataki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Haram has picked Hataki up and slammed him! Hataki can't keep hold of the triangle and Haram manages to pass to side control!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Haram's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Boko Haram showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Haram lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Haram bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A nice side step and Haram releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Hataki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hataki moves forwards but Haram connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hataki feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Haram drops his hands momentarily and Hataki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Hataki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Haram walks away with a smile on his face. Hataki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Oh Hataki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Haram has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hataki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Haram to score with a decent uppercut.

Boko Haram comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Haram has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
