Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Walker (ranked 2689 p4p, 2906 weight class) and Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 344 p4p, 362 weight class). The key to victory for Chief Walker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porfirigo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Walker connects with a single shot there.
Porfirigo misses with a takedown attempt - Walker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Porfirigo instigates a clinch.

Walker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chief Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Walker. No joy for Porfirigo on that attempt.
Walker throws a leg kick but Porfirigo moved away.
As Walker backs off Porfirigo throws a huge counter combo but Walker manages to avoid it all.
Porfirigo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chief Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tayaen Porfirigo.

Walker manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walker swings wildly with an uppercut but Porfirigo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Walker's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Porfirigo is trying to push Walker away but Walker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Still in the clinch, Walker scores with a nice short uppercut.

Walker swings wildly with an uppercut but Porfirigo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Porfirigo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Porfirigo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Walker is pushing Porfirigo's head away, looking to escape. Porfirigo manages to hold on to the position though.

Porfirigo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Walker to his feet.

Walker drops Porfirigo with a big left hand and mounts him. Porfirigo is in big trouble!

It looks like Tayaen Porfirigo has been cut.

Walker gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Porfirigo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Walker's half guard.

Porfirigo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walker throws a series of punches but Porfirigo avoids them all with ease.
Walker scores with a sloppy right hand. Porfirigo should have avoided that one.

Walker tried to counter with a leg kick but Porfirigo avoided it.

Walker lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Porfirigo sprawling to the canvas. Walker follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Porfirigo hang on?
Porfirigo is still in real trouble! Can Walker finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walker grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Porfirigo takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Walker cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
