Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bolleke (ranked 1688 p4p, 2406 weight class) and Vinny Corcoran (ranked 255 p4p, 349 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corcoran lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bolleke's sensitive parts.
Corcoran digs a good hook to Bolleke's body.
Bolleke wants to clinch.

Bolleke rushes Corcoran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Corcoran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

As Bolleke backs off Corcoran throws a huge counter combo but Bolleke manages to avoid it all.

Bolleke clinches up with Corcoran and pushes him back against the cage.

I was talking to Bolleke's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Corcoran lands on the inside with an uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Corcoran creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bolleke wants to clinch up but Corcoran keeps it at a distance.
Bolleke tries to move into range but Corcoran moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Corcoran counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
