The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masunwendinghamar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McDermott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Masunwendinghamar throws a lazy right hand but McDermott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McDermott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Masunwendinghamar.
Masunwendinghamar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDermott manages to avoid it.

Masunwendinghamar is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches McDermott flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! McDermott is out cold! Masunwendinghamar holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
