Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Cooke (ranked 3077 p4p, 2414 weight class) and Aaron Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooke comes to the cage accompanied by Harm's Way - Warriors Will Reign. Petrov has chosen Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws an overhand right that lands on Cooke's shoulder, as Cooke tries to avoid the shot.

Cooke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petrov throws the left hand but Cooke avoids the punch easily.

Cooke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Petrov finds it's way round the side to connect with Cooke's head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cooke drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Petrov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cooke has Petrov in his guard.

Petrov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cooke.

Petrov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Petrov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cooke has time to react.
Cooke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Petrov jabs Cooke right on the nose. Cooke blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Petrov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cooke has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Cooke drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cooke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Petrov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Petrov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Cooke! Petrov dives in looking to finish! Cooke is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Petrov!
A relieved looking Aaron Petrov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
