Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Rujonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rujonen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cant be touched - Roy Jones Jr. Evans has chosen Ready For Some Aksion as his entrance music. Evans has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rashad Evans enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Rujonen. Rujonen gets slowly back to his feet.
Rujonen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Rashad Evans has been cut.

Evans changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rujonen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rujonen tries to buck Evans off but Evans is having none of it.

Rujonen throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

so Evans counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Rujonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evans gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Evans misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horrible takedown by Evans or perhaps it was just good defense by Rujonen which made him look bad.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rujonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evans moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
