Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Makela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Sillanpaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jari Sillanpaa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makela has a takedown stuffed.
Sillanpaa throws a nice looking combination but Makela bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Makela tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sillanpaa swivels and escapes.

Makela misses with a takedown attempt - Sillanpaa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tobias Makela. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Makela wants to control the pace but Sillanpaa is squirming around nicely.
Makela blocks Sillanpaa's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Sillanpaa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Makela.

Sillanpaa is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sillanpaa is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Sillanpaa is mounted but he's throwing punches.
Makela is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sillanpaa is surviving well by controlling Makela's body position as best he can.

Sillanpaa manages to reverse the position and now he's in Makela's guard. Nice work there by Sillanpaa.
