Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trappy Trapperson (ranked 2504 p4p, 3138 weight class) and Akahoshi Hisashi (ranked 302 p4p, 365 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akahoshi Hisashi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trapperson shoots in looking for a takedown. Hisashi tries to sprawl out of it but Trapperson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hisashi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Trapperson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hisashi jabs at Trapperson's body.
Hisashi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Hisashi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Trapperson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hisashi to the mat! Hisashi manages to get full guard.

Trapperson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hisashi is retaining full guard.

Hisashi manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Trapperson jumps guard but Hisashi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
