Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Age Sixteen (ranked 1944 p4p, 2157 weight class) and Aaron Petrov (ranked 250 p4p, 270 weight class). Petrov has chosen Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Age Sixteen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sixteen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sixteen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sixteen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Petrov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Petrov takes a swing at Sixteen's ribcage but misses.
Sixteen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Petrov! But no joy.
Sixteen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sixteen thows a leg kick but Petrov checks it
and Petrov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Petrov keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petrov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sixteen on the side of the head.
Sixteen tries to clinch up but Petrov circles away and keeps his distance.
Sixteen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Petrov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sixteen doesn't manage to clinch there - Petrov circles away.

and Petrov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sixteen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petrov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Petrov thuds a left hand into Sixteen's body.
Petrov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sixteen wants to clinch.
Petrov throws out a counter right but Sixteen avoids it with no problem.
Petrov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Petrov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Petrov has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Sixteen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Petrov, pushing him back against the cage.
Petrov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sixteen closes the distance and clinches.
Petrov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sixteen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Petrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Petrov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Oh Sixteen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Petrov throws a lazy right hand but Sixteen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Petrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Sixteen finish him?
Sixteen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Petrov seems to have recovered his senses.
Petrov lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sixteen takes a step back to recover.
Sixteen tries to clinch but Petrov is having none of it.
Sixteen misses with a hook
and Petrov counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

During a confident post fight interview, Aaron Petrov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
