The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a hook but Archibald blocks it.
A lazy left from Jenkins finds it's target.

It looks like Crispin Archibald has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Archibald checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jenkins motions for Archibald to come forward. Jenkins throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Archibald was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Jenkins throws a leg kick that is checked

and Archibald counters with a single leg into guard. Jenkins didn't expect that.
Archibald forces his way into half guard.
Archibald is taking a breather. Jenkins says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Archibald is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Archibald moves nicely into side control.

Jenkins is trying to escape the position but Archibald is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins tries to escape back to his feet but Archibald has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Jenkins's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Jenkins is tapping! Archibald saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
