and Smith counters with a crisp one two that drops Sharma! Smith thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sharma to his feet! Sharma is in big trouble!

Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sharma lands with a good body shot.
Sharma jabs Smith right on the nose. Smith blinks but takes it well.

enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Sharma walks straight into a right hand from Smith - that's dropped him! Smith jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sharma from any more punishment! Sharma complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Kenny Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
