Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. Mikie Lee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Emu catches Lee right on the button with a cross.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Emu moves out of range easily.
Emu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mikie Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a series of punches but Emu avoids them all with ease.
Emu tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee misses with a straight right.

Emu punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch.

Lee lands with a straight right. Emu didn't see that one coming.
Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A bone on bone clash there as Lee blocks the leg kick.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Emu moves out of range easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Emu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Emu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A head kick from Lee lands but Emu takes it in his stride.

Emu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Emu is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Emu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Emu's back!
Emu is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Lee off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Emu tries to escape but Lee has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
