Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fartwee Boogerfish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jobibo Hilo!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hilo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boogerfish sprawls well initially but Hilo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boogerfish trying to control here.
Hilo prevents Boogerfish from improving his position.
Boogerfish is positioning himself well to prevent Hilo advancing to mount.
Boogerfish wants to control but Hilo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boogerfish desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Boogerfish's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hilo is thwarting Boogerfish's attempts to control the position.
Hilo sitting and controlling from the half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Hilo swinging wildly here.

Hilo gets a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boogerfish tries for a takedown. No joy.
Boogerfish goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hilo prevents it.

Boogerfish wants the takedown. Hilo is fighting it off but Boogerfish persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hilo's guard against the cage.
Hilo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boogerfish wants to control from the top but Hilo keeps moving.
Boogerfish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hilo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boogerfish is working hard here to advance position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boogerfish trying to control the position from guard on top but Hilo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boogerfish works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boogerfish seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hilo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Boogerfish wants to free his trapped foot but Hilo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boogerfish is just content to waste time from the top position. Hilo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Hilo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boogerfish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boogerfish pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hilo is keeping the position for now.
Boogerfish wants to control from the top but Hilo keeps moving.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Boogerfish gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hilo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hilo looks winded!
Boogerfish pulls Hilo in close to his closed guard and prevents Hilo from doing any damage or advancing position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Boogerfish is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hilo defends well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jobibo Hilo dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Hilo takes the fight into the clinch.

Hilo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Boogerfish gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hilo regains guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hilo is trying to push Boogerfish off with his feet but Boogerfish grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Hilo's ankles and Hilo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Ankle Lock). Fartwee Boogerfish!
