Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Reyes (ranked 935 p4p, 4158 weight class) and Conor OShea (ranked 123 p4p, 452 weight class). Reyes comes into the arena with Zack Hemsey - Vengeance blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea throws a sloppy head kick and Reyes moves out of range easily.
OShea is looking to clinch.

and OShea takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
OShea fails with the takedown
and Reyes counters with a nice uppercut.
OShea shoots in and drives through. Reyes sprawls well.
OShea swings for the body but Reyes moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by OShea or perhaps it was just good defense by Reyes, which made it look bad.
Reyes is looking to counter punch.
Roman Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor OShea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
